I raised 10 litters of Labradors and Springer Spaniels, most of which went on to become working detection dogs. During this time, I also assisted with the training of S.W.A.T. dogs, trained rescue dogs to locate explosives and drugs, and worked on specialist projects involving firearm detection dogs. Outside of work, I have been involved in PSA, or Protection Sport Association, training my own dogs and helping others at a club I co owned. I also contribute as a decoy at another local club and continue to compete with my own dog. My own dog, Xena, is an all black Dutch Herder.
